Tangled Up In Batiks

Featuring:  J. Michelle Watts

Sponsored by:  Hearts and Hands Quilts (www.heartsandhandsquilts.com)

April 14 – 21, 2013

No drawing or art experience needed because the process is so easy. I am going to take through step by step into the wonderful artistic world of ZenCreations.

Come join us on a wonderful Caribbean cruise where we will explore exotic island and learn the exciting art of Zentangle®. A Zentangle® is a complicated drawing built from simple repetitive pattern and designs.

Come learn the basics of this wonderful drawing style while you improve your focus, relieve stress and spark your creativity.

I am going to show students how to unleash their creativity as they work with paper, fabrics and threads. Students will be drawing on papers & fabrics and working with a variety of different fabrics. Students will create a variety of small ZenCreation art pieces using all their new talents.  Learn how to use your new artistic talents in embroidery, quilting, cards, jewelry and anything else you can draw on.

Kits will include all you need for several projects. The only thing you need to bring is an open mind and a small pair of scissors.

We are thrilled to have J. Michelle Watts join us for a 3rd time as we cruise to the beautiful Southern Caribbean for a 7 night cruise onboard the beautiful Adventure of the Seas.

This cruise departs from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  The cruise includes 2 days at sea during which we will be learning some fun ZenTangle techniques from J. Michelle  We will then visit the ports of St. Thomas; St. Kitts; Curacao and Aruba.

Our returning sponsor, Nina of Hearts and Hands Quilts in Green Valley, Arizona is excited to be joining us again.  She always puts so much into our Quilt Retreat at Sea cruises, making them fun and unforgettable.
