Hoffman Fabrics was founded by Rube Hoffman in 1924 after relocating from New York to California. He played an important role in the growth of California’s textile industry. His sons joined the company in the 1950s. Today, three generations of Hoffmans are actively involved in running the organization. This year, Hoffman Fabrics celebrates its 88th anniversary and continues in its leadership position as the finest producer of screenprints and Bali Batiks.

Judy Gula has been working in fiber since elementary school. Since middle school, she has been a weaver, spinner, dyer and collector. Later, she studied fashion design at Radford University, earning degrees in fashion design and business marketing. Judy now enjoys merging all that she has learned from her many interests and channeling that into making art quilts and samples for her shop Artistic Artifacts. “It is our wish that our finds will encourage you to be creative…We are sharing our stash with you, and I love to share.”

Jeff and Frank took basic  quilting classes from Margaret Baker at the Quilter’s Bee and got hooked on  quilting.  From the first class there was talk of opening a Quilt  Shop.  Jeff and Frank taught the third dude, Ray how to quilt and the three  were on the way to becoming serious, dedicated quilters, and the proud owners of  3 Dudes Quilting.
