Please join us for our first and hopefully annual Quilters Shop Hop. Our participating shops are looking forward to meeting us and showing us why they are unique. We hope you will make new friends, learn more about the New England Quilt style, and enjoy the scenery and history of the area.
ITINERARY:
August 23, 2018: Arrive in Washington, DC and make your way to our hotel for the night, Capital Hilton. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by me – Michelle – your escort and host for the entire trip. Enjoy your free evening out in the city for dinner and/or some light sightseeing. (No meals provided)
August 24, 2018: Breakfast will not be included at this hotel, so make sure you grab a quick breakfast before we go. We will be picked up by our coach and driver and will begin our Shop Hop right away. We will visit 3 shops today, with a stop for lunch on your own. We will then return to the Capital Hilton. You will be on your own for dinner.

August 25, 2018: Today we depart Washington, DC and head to Lancaster, PA. We will visit 4 shops in the area, with a break for lunch on your own. Following our time in Lancaster, we will head to New York City and our hotel right in the middle of Times Square – Hampton Inn. You will have plenty of restaurant choices in the area to choose from.

August 26, 2018: Enjoy a complimentary breakfast at the hotel, then enjoy your Free Day here in New York City. You will be provided with a voucher for the Hop On Hop Off Bus tour, which will allow you to see as much or as little of the city that you wish as the bus operates from 9am to 5pm daily. You may even want to throw in a show tonight on Broadway.

August 27, 2018: Enjoy your complimentary breakfast at the hotel, then board the coach as we continue on with our journey. We will visit 3 shops today, with time for lunch at the ever popular Rein’s Deli (near Quilting by the Yard) and will then have a stop in Lowell, Massachusetts, staying at the Courtyard Boston Lowell Hotel. You will have the evening free for dinner and downtime.

August 28, 2018: Following your breakfast at your leisure, we will head to the New England Quilt Museum where you can spend all day looking at the amazing exhibits there. You can find time on your own for lunch and dinner as you enjoy the town of Lowell and then head back to the Courtyard Boston Lowell at your leisure.

August 29, 2018: After breakfast, we will board the coaches again and head off for another day of exploring and shop hopping. We will visit 2 shops today with free time for lunch before landing at the Hampton Inn in Littleton, NH where you can find dining close by.

August 30, 2018: Enjoy your breakfast and then we’re on to a day at Shelburne Museum, one of the country’s most diverse museums of paintings, folk art, quilts and textiles, and New England history and architecture. Enjoy lunch at your leisure at the museum’s cafe. We will then head to our hotel – Holiday Inn Express – in nearby Burlington.

August 31, 2018: Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel as today will be our last full day of traveling. We will enjoy a morning drive before arrival at the Canterbury Shaker Village, featuring 25 restored original Shaker buildings, 4 reconstructed Shaker buildings, and 695 acres of forest, fields, gardens, nature trails, and mill ponds. You can take your time seeing as much as you want and enjoy your lunch at the Lunch and Farm Stand onsite. We will then head off to our last quilt shop and then on to our hotel in Boston – Four Points Sheraton. The hotel provides a shuttle to the light rail station, or you can catch an Uber if you want to travel downtown.

September 1, 2018: Breakfast is included for you today and you will be provided with a voucher for the Old Town Trolley Tour, in which you can hop on and off as many times as you wish. The trolley operates from 9am to 5pm. The hotel can provide the shuttle to the light rail as the tour can be picked up at any of the 20 different stops. You will have a great day exploring Boston on your own, and then return to the hotel to rest up for your journey home.

September 2, 2018: Depending on the flights you have arranged, you can enjoy breakfast and then head to the airport with the hotel shuttle. We will look forward to seeing you again on our next shop hop, wherever we decide to go next!
PRICING: $1950 per person
All pricing is based on double occupancy and requires a minimum of 40 people. In the event we have less than 40 people, pricing will be adjusted at the time of final payment. Single room rates available upon request.

$250 deposit due at the time of booking – you will be emailed an invoice with a payment link
$250 2nd deposit due by January 1, 2018
Final balance due by June 1, 2018
CANCELLATION POLICY:
$100 fee per person if cancelled between January 1, 2018 and June 1, 2018
Non-refundable if cancelled 75 days or less prior to tour departure date
