What a great way to beat the winter blues and take a short break from everyday life while enjoying the wonderful services of Royal Caribbean’s “Serenade of the Seas” and the company of fellow quilters!
From tropical fish to beautiful beaches, zip-lining to snorkeling, there’s something wonderful awaiting you in every port of call. Onboard the ship, you will have the opportunity to perfect your quilting skills with Carol Gibson-Weik, a Certified Teacher for “Quilt in a Day”, as well as opportunities to SEW-cialize with other people who share a love of quilting. And, you will walk off the ship with a quilt top completed and, maybe, even something creative to “tote” it in.
Other projects may be available for purchase or bring your own from home to work on. Our classes will be held during our days at sea, with daily Open Stitch and Sail opportunities.
Patterns, fabric, and templates for the project will be included in the price of the cruise. Ongoing instruction will be available throughout the cruise AND a ‘state of the art’ sewing machine will be provided for your use.
All you have to do is pack your bags and get ready to enjoy sewing, sightseeing, and sharing your love of quilting with others.
