Carol, a Certified Teacher for “Quilt in a Day”, brings a unique set of skills to ‘Quilt Retreat At Sea’. She teaches in quilt shops, guilds, retreats and is now finalizing all the arrangements for her quilting cruise “Spoolin’ Around the Southern Seas” in February 2014.
Carol is designing a new project for this cruise to be taught in the Quilt in a Day style. You will be able to go home with a completed full quilt top. The colors for this project are beautiful and you will have a choice of 3 colors that Carol will bring for you.
Another project will be introduced for those who finish quickly or just want to do try something different. OR, bring your own projects! There will be three “Quilting and Cruising Days” and our classroom will also be open daily for ‘Open Stitch and Sail’ opportunities.
Patterns, fabric, and templates for ALL projects will be included in the price of the cruise. Ongoing instruction will be available throughout the cruise AND a ‘state of the art’ sewing machine will be provided for you.
All you have to do is pack your bags and get ready to enjoy sewing, sightseeing, and sharing your love of quilting with others.
